CaddisArt, Inc. began as a portrait photography business in Atco, New Jersey and has flourished into a full-service digital media company with expertise in Web Development, Graphics, Video Production, Marketing Tech and much more. With staff backgrounds in Information Technology and Educational Computing, CaddisArt has been coined the “Marketing Mechanics” of their industry. CaddisArt services companies not only the tri-state area, but clients across the United States.

The first CaddisArt office was located on the White Horse Pike in Atco, NJ.

The offices were above Atco Family Dentistry on the White Horse Pike. After incorporating in 2007, the business flourished, services were expanded to graphics, video, digital marketing and certainly film-making. Our offices were small, but our staff began to grow employing programmers, graphic artists, camera operators and IT specialists. Today, our employees enjoy working from the comfort of their homes utilizing centralized servers, VOIP phone systems and video conferencing. This allows for low overhead costs that we pass along to our valued clients. Thanks, Internet!

Today, we are a full-fledged cinematic powerhouse. Armed with professional cinematography cameras, lighting and everything that goes along with it, we’re producing documentaries, commercials and have teamed up with the likes of Amazon Prime Video®  and Roku®.

One of our principal mantras is “Love what you do, do what you love.” The same holds true in our off-time with combined hobbies such as camping, cycling, woodworking, gaming and more. Our team is a tightly knit, well-oiled machine. In addition, we’re friends that enjoy spending time outside of the office as well.

What’s with the company name? What does it mean? 

The CaddisArt Fishermen in Tobyhanna, PA in 2004

Founder and Creative Director, Robert Blanda and his step father went fly-fishing in the Tobyhanna, PA area once a year for several years as a positive bonding experience. As the art of learning several aspects of fly-fishing, it increasingly became more of a challenge. One early spring trip to the stream, they watched the morning hatch and decided to grab the caddis flies they had tied the evening before. That day, they collectively caught (and released) 21 beautiful trout – three of them being native rainbows. It was a great day of fishing.

That was Tuesday, July 3rd, 2004.

The company, CaddisArt was formed the following Monday. The name is a reflection of a great day using our “Caddis” flies. Art was added to reflect our values about digital marketing. It was certainly an art.
