Here are just a few of the frequent questions we receive at CaddisArt. If you’d like to ask us anything not listed here, please contact us directly. We love taking calls!

Q. What exactly is it that you do? 

A. In addition to our list of services (find them here), we consider ourselves the marketing mechanics behind several companies and marketing agencies. We usually handle the technical and graphic side of all that is needed of just about any company. In a few cases, we’ve actually invented products and processes that do not exist to meet the needs of our family of clients. 

Q. What are your business hours? 

A. Like many super-geeks and creative people, we tend to work a very scattered schedule to allow our employees the flexibility to spend time with their family and friends. However, our official hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30AM until 4:30PM.

Q. Are you a full-service marketing firm?

A. Yes.  We have yet to come across a task we cannot handle. However, our specialty is taking care of both the technical and creative side of marketing so you don’t have to. We certainly take your ideas into consideration and those ideas are translated into what we consider excellent options for you.

Q. Do you outsource your work overseas?

A. Absolutely not. Our employees and contractors are mostly located within the Greater Philadelphia Area, and our immediate team is in Southern and Central New Jersey. We take pride in being a small and local business! We also support other small businesses in our area when we can.

Q. Who is your competition?

A. We really don’t have any. The other companies that perform the same work in our area are our allies. We often trade resources, camera operators and share ideas. Think of it as a mini Chamber of Commerce within the digital media world. We all work together. We’ve found this is the best way to do business. Trust us when we say, it’s the right thing to do. We don’t compete over clients – we share them. 

Q. Do you still do Video Transfers? 

A. Sort of. It’s sad to say that we had to drop 8mm and 16mm film to digital because of the age of film. In addition, our insurance doesn’t cover film transfers because of the age of film. Most physical media is dying, so we’re seeing a drop-off in requests. However, we still do VHS, Vinyl and other types of media (provided it’s not completely weird.) Interested? Click here.

Q. Can you tailor a monthly fee to handle our marketing?

Q. What applications do you use for Video Editing?

A. In most cases, we’re teaming Adobe Premiere Pro®, Adobe After Effects®, Adobe Photoshop® and Adobe Audition®. However, in the cases  where we rely heavily on color correction, we find ourselves using Davinci Resolve®

Q. Do you hand-code your websites and email newsletters? 

A. For email newsletters, yes. In fact, it’s a difficult task to adhere to all the specifications for each email client (especially Outlook.) As for websites, we used to primarily hand-code everything. But with WordPress and other Content Management systems, there’s simply no need to reinvent the wheel. They’ve done a fine job in making everything modular and easy to modify. In a lot of cases, we’ll take open-source software and modify it for our needs.
